Workshop

Our 2-hour, 30-minute workshop gives your young adult all the information they need to know about periods and reminds parents or carers about the biology behind menstruation.

We educate about the areas of the female reproductive system including what each area does.

We talked in depth about sanitary wear and how to use it.

We give facts that all our young adults should know before/ as they start this wonderful journey.

By parents being there it reduces the awkwardness around talking about this natural cycle and well as reminding the parents/ carers about what their young person is experiencing.

Finally, they receive a Moon Basket, a gift worth £20 for their first period.

We do not talk about sex in our workshops, however, parents must be aware that it may come up as your young people have inquisitive minds
